La Flaque, a microbrewery based in Brussels, has decided to give its production a social and committed dimension. Our Flaque Maté—a handcrafted lemonade infused with maté—is now a socially responsible drink.
A socially responsible drink is a product for which a significant portion of the revenue is directly donated to a social cause or a project of general interest. Bulle ASBL is a mobile water bar project that supports the social reintegration of homeless people in Brussels. It’s a frontline service dedicated to hygiene, social connection, and support for homeless people.
Bulle is also, and above all, a local hub that has been helping to reorganize the cultural, social, and health reintegration of homeless individuals since 2016.
It operates in close proximity to needs in strategic locations throughout Brussels, fostering shared experiences and tangible well-being.
Although very different in nature, Bulles ASBL and La Flaque SRL share a common vision: a sincere, hands-on commitment, far removed from empty rhetoric.
For us, the choice to work with Bulles ASBL was a natural one, given their presence and work in the heart of the city. This partnership allows us to support an organization that prioritizes human contact and direct action with those who need it most.
Donation Calculation
The partnership is based on a model of ongoing financial support. For every can of Flaque Maté consumed, a portion of the value created is directly reinvested in Bulles ASBL’s projects. This allows you to enjoy a simple, unpretentious maté while actively contributing to a social cause.
In short: La Flaque commits to donating 50% of the net profit generated from the sale of Flaque Maté.
Donations are calculated for each batch. The net profit is calculated after deducting production, distribution, and storage costs.
